The zip file contains the following:
- AdventureWorksDW2008.bak database backup file that is the SQL 2008 RTM version of the Adventure Works DW sample database. You can manually restore the database backup from SSMS or you can modify the accompanying script for a specific restore destination location and execute the script.
- AdventureWorks2008.bak database backup file that is the SQL 2008 RTM version of the Adventure Works OLTP sample database. You can manually restore the database backup from SSMS or you can modify the accompanying script for a specific restore destination location and execute the script.
- Adventure Works 2008 SSAS sample solution. The AdventureWorks 2008 Analysis Services Project folder contains the sample SSAS project that can be deployed to the SSAS server. Use the enterprise version, which works on the SQL 2008 developer edition.
- Adventure Works sample reports. These SQL Server 2008 RTM reporting services sample reports work against the Adventure Works sample databases and cubes and are referenced by some of the practice exercises.
