Checking primary audio device call quality
After you’ve selected your primary audio device, Lync 2013 provides you with the ability to check the quality of the call experience when using your preferred device. By making a test call, Lync 2013 will play back the audio from the test so that you can hear for yourself the quality of the audio experienced by colleagues and coworkers when communicating with you.
Check call quality
In the Lync client window, click the Settings icon (the small gear graphic).
In the Options dialog box, click the Audio Device tab.
Click Check Call Quality button.
Follow the audio instructions from within the Audio Test Service asking you to record a message. After you’ve recorded a sample message, Lync will play the message back to you.
